2 – Special Trips

South Komodo Special

You may notice a few special trips such as our “South Komodo Special” route. We will still follow the usual route and dive the best sites all over the Park but will focus on spending more time in the southern part of the Komodo National Park (South Komodo, Nusa Kode, Padar) during the months where the visibility and weather conditions improve greatly.

Whale shark research*

Together with a marine biologist, we will be focusing on two scientific trips on a special itinerary including a stop where whale sharks tend to be seen. Think Komodo with a special bonus! There are of course no 100% guarantees but we do know a secret spot. Don’t ask us where it is… it’s a secret!

One-way Bali to Komodo and vice-versa

Before and after our Alor trips described below, two trips with an extended time in Komodo will be offered. Although this route involves one domestic flight (LBJ airport in Flores), it also grants the guests more time exploring Komodo as we spend less time traveling long distances. This is ideal for people who wish to explore the island of Flores and its amazing wonders, or simply focus more attention on the Komodo National Park. Min. 30 and up to 33 dives (depending on flights!). National Park & Marine Reserve fee on these “Komodo extended” trips: 150€. Please see our attached adjusted itinerary.

The new route to Alor*

We will be offering 12D/11N Maumere-Alor-Maumere cruises in the fall of 2018. We will send you all the details such as itinerary, schedule and full adjusted pricing in a separate email very soon. Depending on its success, this may become a new recurring product of the Adelaar each year around the same dates.

Booking and Payment for Individual Bookings:

Please include passenger name, passport number, birth date, and nationality, as well as cabin preference and any special dietary restrictions.
A deposit of EUR 500 per person must be received to secure a booking. The deposit is not refundable in the event of a later cancellation.
The full balance is due 60 days prior to departure. If the booking is made less than 60 days prior to departure, the full payment is due upon booking.

Booking and Payment for Group Bookings:

For each member of the group, please, include passenger name, passport number, birth date, and nationality, as well as cabin preference and any special dietary restrictions. The maximum number of passengers is 8.

A deposit of EUR 500 per person is due to secure the group booking. The deposit is not refundable in the event of a later cancellation. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure. If the booking is made less than 90 days prior to departure, the full balance is due upon booking.
