The Hunter 38 yacht was voted Boat of the Year by Cruising World magazine in 2005 as being the best production cruiser under 40 feet. A very distinctive and impressive-looking yacht, her many new at the time design features made her one of the fastest hulls produced by Hunter, with enviable performance in light airs and minimal drag.
The stainless steel Targa arch keeps the traveler conveniently above the cockpit leaving a very safe and secure area that can comfortably accommodate 8 underway. Down below, luxury and style await with a large transverse aft cabin with ensuite access to the main large bathroom, a very comprehensive galley with a separate fridge and freezer under the bench, even a dedicated drying cabinet for all your dishes. The expansive ultra leather-clad wrap-around dinette caters for large dinner parties, with a berth-sized lounge directly opposite and immediately forward of the navigation station.
Heaps of storage throughout, including in the cockpit, excellent use of light and ventilation with the judicious placing of large hatches and ports, an ever-reliable Yanmar 40hp diesel, oversized house power, folding helm wheel, Raymarine electronics, and comprehensive entertainment systems all combine to make this Hunter a must inspect. Numerous other unique design features and extras set this strong and well built American beauty apart from the rest

Pros:Paul and the boat were great thank you. The boat was well kept, very comfortable and with all the bells and whistles for cruising. Paul was the perfect coxswain/host. In control, on top of the safety and very personable with the right amount of distance.
Cons:boat/skipper
